Online Payment Option

computer clip artEZschoolpay.com is a service offered to help both schools and parents. It helps your student to receive his/her school meals quickly and without interruption of service.

You can use EZschoolpay.com to make pre-payments to your student’s school meal account anytime using your Visa*, MasterCard*, or Discover* card (credit or debit). You can also monitor your student’s meal account balance online-updated as often as every ten minutes.

Other abilities include online history of your student’s meal activity, and low-balance email alerts. These abilities are free to the parent.

We encourage you to take advantage of this service. It will give you peace-of-mind-knowing your student will receive the meals he/she needs without interruption.

Breakfast and Lunch Programs

Due to federal regulations, parents must complete an application in order to qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Simply Click here from any computer or mobile device, and click on “Apply Today” to get started. The online application is available in English and in Spanish. If you need assistance or do not have a computer or mobile device to complete the application online, visit Cordova Elementary's school office for assistance. Only one online application needs to be completed per family.  

Cordova Elementary School will provide the “Breakfast Without Charge” program, which allows all students to eat breakfast at school free of charge.  In order for the school to continue to offer the “Breakfast Without Charge” program, a majority of students must participate in the program.  Please encourage all Cordova Elementary School students to come to school every morning for breakfast.

Breakfast is available in the cafeteria beginning at 7:45 a.m., and concluding at 8:25 a.m.  Students eating breakfast in the cafeteria must allow enough time to eat and be on time for class at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast and lunch menus are issued to each student monthly. Reminders to Parents 

  1. A student or parent can make meal card deposits each morning between 8:00 and 8:20 a.m. in the Cafeteria.
  2. When a student's meal account has only two meals remaining, the cafeteria clerk will remind the student. 
  3. A student must have money in his/her account or lunch money for the day in order to receive a hot lunch.  Charges for meals are not allowed. 
  4. Students in grades 3-8 with a "zero" account balance and no lunch money for the day, will be given an alternate meal of a peanut butter sandwich, cheese wedge, carrot and celery sticks, an apple, and milk.  This will be provided but the students account will be charged accordingly for up to three (3) occasions during each school year. The cost of the alternative meal or the amount due will be deducted from the next deposit to your child’s account.
  5. During student meal service, no outside food service (i.e. McDonald's, Taco Bell, etc.) is allowed in the cafeteria. 
  6. Sack lunches from home are permitted. Milk can be purchased for $.25 or $1.25 for a 5-day ticket.  If the student is not buying milk, parents are encouraged to provide unsweetened fruit juice for sack lunches.  Soda pop or other carbonated beverages are not allowed with either school meals or sack lunches.

Cobra Code in the Cafeteria

While in the cafeteria or waiting in line students will:

  • Show respect for others by speaking in quiet voices during meals and using proper table manners.
  • Please sit where the adults on duty assign you to sit and stay there until you are dismissed.
  • Sharing or giving food away food is not permitted.
  • Food, utensils, or napkins are not to be thrown.
  • Pick up your own trash and the area around you before leaving.
